My daughter and I tried Flava Shack out this evening for dinner. It was very easy to find and in a very good location. The inside decor is very nice and plenty of space. We were greated by Brianna whow was very friendly and helpful with suggesting what was good on ymthe menu. She said named several items which was good. I love when a waiter/waitress know what items are popular and very delicious.
For the appetizer we had the crawfish dip which was delicious as well as the presentation. The dip is a good flavor amd served with pita and tortilla chips which were warm and delicious with the chips. I would definitely recommend this to anyone. They have a variety of food options from burgers, shrimp, pasta, quesadillas, crab legs, salmon, lobster, po-boys, fish and grits, steak, salads, seafood nachos
For our meal we both had the cajun catfish crowd crispy with fries minus the cole slaw, I got double fries and my daughter got fries and mac n cheese. The mac n cheese is delicious and is made with penne pasta which holds the cheese well and the temperature of it was perfect... I could have eaten the mac n cheese and I will definitely get the mac n cheese as a side every time I go there. The catfish was fried crispy per our request and it was delicious with a very good flavor, every bite was crispy..
Thank you Flava Shack I truly enjoyed my meal this evening. I appreciate the friendly staff especially Brianna. I will definitely come back again to try something different on your menu. -

First time visitor tonight after looking for a good restaurant in the MS area serving fish. So glad we found this place. The service was very nice and we met the owner who was a very nice lady. The atmosphere was casual and laid back and it smelled of a seafood restaurant which was great. While waiting for our food I noticed quite a few plates passing me that all looked delicious. I had the fish plate which came with 2 filets, hush puppies, slaw and fries. I opted out of the slaw because I'm not big on spicy food and it was a jalapeño Cole slaw. We tried the carrot cake which was also delicious. The food was flavored to perfection and was enough to bring half of my food home. The only reason I didn't give a full 5 stars was because it took a little long to get our food and I was charged $2.50 extra for hush puppies that came with the meal. I didn't fuss because I had more than enough food.
I'll definitely be back. -

Great 1st time visit!
I visited this place over the past weekend. We did not have to wait for a table. The prices are great for a seafood restaurant. The menu is small, but there is something for everyone, even if you don't like seafood. It's a very casual place. You definitely do not have to dress up. I ordered the Fish (fried) and Grits. The fish was seasoned well. The grits could have been a little thinner (kinda stiff), but still good. I had to ask for more of the cream sauce that goes on top because it was a lot of grits. All in all, I will definitely return to try more options. -

This was a welcomed delight on a rainy day. This little gem is tucked away in a strip plaza next to a nail shop. Who knew you could find happy in a bag. Everything was full of flavor and there was plenty to fill you up if your a big eater or share. My family enjoyed their meals as well. The bow on this gift was the owner and her daughter serving, 2 lovely lady's helping make you feel welcomed.

Delicious food . Took about an hour to get our food because it was packed with a birthday party but it was worth it and they were nice about it. Great service other than it took.
We got the poboy, the catfish and the fish and grits
